Your Bodyshape

It is important to remember that not everyone fits into a perfect category you might a blend of two shapes or find you have to make certain concessions. For instance I am an hourglass because I fulfill most of that criteria but I don't have a Marilyn Monroe shape, my waist is not that tiny compared to my hips, but dressing styling myself as an hourglass works probably 98% of the time.

Stand in front of a mirror in form fitting clothes or in your underwear:
You are:

An Hourglass: 
If your shoulders and your hips are roughly the same width apart (shoulder to shoulder to hip to hip should form a rectangle)
Your waist is noticably smaller than your hips and your shoulders
You have larger boobs
You carry weight on your thighs

An Apple:
If your hips and your shoulders and your waist are all roughly the same width.
You have big boobs
You carry weight on your tummy and on the tops of your arms
You have a flat bum
You have slim legs

A Pear:
If your shoulders are considerably narrower than your hips
You have smaller boobs
You have a defined waist
You have slim arms
You carry weight on your hips and legs

Boyish:
If your shoulders and hips are the same width and both are slim
You have small boobs
You have no defined waist
You have slim legs
You have a long body

Swimmer:
If your shoulders are considerable broader than your hips
If you have large boobs
You carry any weight on your tummy
You have a flat bottom
You have slim legs
